What is a Virtual Assistant?

A Virtual Assistant (VA) is an independent contractor providing administrative, human resources, creative and technical services from a remote location in a virtual form - using email, internet, telephone, fax and other tools to communicate with their clients. A professional Virtual Assistant assists clients from their own office on a contractual basis.

History

Snap Assistant is a Portland, Oregon based business established in 2009. While the majority of our clients are based in Oregon and Washington, we handle client accounts nationwide and in Canada. Snap Assistant is a member of the Virtual Assistance Chamber of Commerce and a Member of the Alliance for Virtual Businesses.

Snap Assistant has Virtual Assistants with over seventeen years of computer knowledge and over six years of professional administrative experience holding positions such as Senior Administrative Officer, Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Human Resources Officer and Communications Specialist. Our Virtual Assistants have expertise in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and an impressive lineup of other computer software and skills. Our offices are equipped with Verizon FiOS (fiber) internet access. Lacey Johnston is the founder of Snap Assistant and Owner of Red Lace Design in addition to being an Official Notary Public for the State of Oregon.
